How many sessions does it take to notice improvement?

The short answer is, it depends. I have worked with clients in short-term (2-3 sessions) and longer-term (2-3 years) therapy. The frequency and duration of therapy is entirely up to you, and depends on the issue(s) you bring to therapy, your goals, time, and resources. I often recommend to new clients to start with at least a few sessions (weekly or biweekly) to get a feel for the modality we are using (Gestalt or music therapy) and then we will check-in to see how you are feeling, and if there have been any changes, developments, or stuck points. Therapy is (and I am) here to support you, so ultimately you decide when to book as session.

Sessions are currently only offered online, weeknights only.

Post pandemic, I continue to provide virtual sessions until I can secure an in-person space. Online sessions are offered via Zoom for Healthcare, which is HIPAA, GDPR, & PHIPA/PIPEDA compliant, meeting worldwide security requirements.

Sessions are held on weekday evenings, typically 7 or 8pm.
